Alizée performing “We Are the World” plus more — Les Enfoires 2010

Time to take a detour from the usual Hip-Hop focus of this blog and focus on something else…Alizée! If you don’t know, Alizée is a French singer who found her fame with her hit debut single, “Moi…Lolita” in 2000. Since then, she has become a popular artist not only in France, but across the world. As I happen to be a big fan of Alizée, I figured I would update you on what is happening with the lovely French sensation.

Currently, she is participating in an event that is known as Les Enfoires, a concert that brings together various artists & celebrities of many backgrounds together to raise money for Les Restos du Cœur (Restaurants of the Heart), an organization with the focus of distributing food packages & hot meals to the needy.

The concert takes place this year from January 27th to February 2nd at the Palais Nikaia in Nice. It is host to many artists & performers, as stated before. But, the most important, and the one who seems to be the focus, is the lovely Alizée! Here is a video of her performing Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson’s “We Are The World” with singer/artist Amel.

She is definitely sounding good and in top form. She also sang a duet of “J’aime Plus Paris” in the show.
